Back in March, Apple announced its game subscription service Apple Arcade. The service would allow iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV users to play a collection of games for free with the subscription. You will have access to more than 100 new and exclusive games — some of which won’t be available on any other platforms.

So far, Apple has been quiet about the pricing details about Apple Arcade. We already know the service will launch this Fall — in fact, Apple already has a dedicated tab for Apple Arcade on the App Store on the iOS 13 beta. But what we didn’t know is how much it will actually cost.

And now, according to a new report from 9to5Mac, Apple Arcade will reportedly be available for $4.99 a month. The company is running an internal early access program for Apple Arcade right now, though the folks at 9to5Mac were able to use one of the APIs to get access to a hidden promotional message that reveals the pricing.

Apple will be offering a free one-month trial for Arcade, and it will also support Family Sharing.

The company is expected to introduce new iPhones and possibly other hardware on September 10, so the official pricing details for Apple Arcade will likely be announced there. And if Apple is set to launch iOS 13 on the same day, it will probably launch Apple Arcade along with it.
