Samsung Flow now lets users mirror smartphone screens to Galaxy tablets

Posted September 14, 2019 | Mobile | News

After announcing the demise of the SideSync app and service next month, Samsung recommended users to start using another app instead – Samsung Flow. Just like SideSync, Samsung Flow is supposed to enable users to mirror their smartphones to larger displays.

The Flow app wasn’t meant to offer users the option to mirror smartphone screens to tablets, but since Samsung plans to replace SideSyn with Flow, the app has been recently updated with this specific feature.

Apart from being able to mirror the phone screen on Galaxy tablets, the phone screen windows can also be used alongside other apps on the tablet with the Multi window feature, SamMobile reports. Also, the update adds the ability to transfer entire folders instead of just files.

Samsung Flow was only capable of mirroring phone screen to PC, but with the latest update, the feature is brought to smartphones as well. If you’re still using SideSync, you might want to switch to Samsung Flow since the former will be discontinued on October 15.
