OnePlus 7T leaks with huge rear camera module, familiar front
A drastically redesigned camera module and an extra sensor
Corroborating recent design rumors, today’s renders of the OnePlus 7T showcase the presence of a huge circular camera module on the rear which houses an updated setup that’ll undoubtedly help maintain a competitive edge over rival devices.
The rear panel, as expected, is carved out of a single slab of glass and is also home to the OnePlus logo. However, today’s renders suggest the ‘OnePlus’ branding along the bottom could be removed on the OnePlus 7T.
One important change has been made to the display
From the front, the OnePlus 7T is almost indistinguishable at first glance from the OnePlus 7, which itself bears a very close resemblance to last year’s OnePlus 6T. This similarity can be attributed to the presence of a notched display up front paired with equally thin bezels and a large speaker grill above. However, one important change has been made.
According to the information provided by Hemmerstoffer, the OnePlus 7T will feature a 6.5-inch display that’ll likely be an Optic AMOLED panel. This is slightly larger than the 6.4-inch display found on the OnePlus 7 and naturally means that the upcoming flagship will be a little larger. For reference, the OnePlus 7 measures in 157.7 x 74.8 x 8.2mm whereas the upcoming OnePlus 7T’s dimensions sit at 161.2 x 74.5 x 8.3mm.
