The powerful Honor 20 Pro has just received a global release date and it’s not far away at all. Honor announced recently its powerful flagship smartphone will be rolled out globally starting August 2. The first country to get the Honor 20 Pro is Russia, followed by United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Finland, Poland, Malaysia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and other markets.Officially launched in China right after Huawei was banned in the United States, the Honor 20 Pro is unlikely that will hit the States anytime soon. Introduced alongside the Honor 20, the Pro model comes with a slightly improved quad-camera and a larger battery, but other than that, these phones are almost the same.

As far as pricing goes, the Honor 20 Pro will be available for purchase in Russia for the equivalent of $555, but the price might vary greatly depending on the country.

Besides the powerful Kirin 980 processor, the Honor 20 Pro’s main selling points are the massive 4,000 mAh battery, the impressive quad-camera (48MP+12MP+8MP+2MP) with Sony IMX586 sensor, and the large 6.26-inch “All-view” IPS LCD with a 4.5mm hole punch that accommodates a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Software-wise, the Honor 20 Pro ships with Android 9.0 Pie on board and all sorts of nifty features like GPU Turbo 3.0 for a smooth gaming experience, Virtual Surround system that supports most wired and wireless earphones, as well as Ultra-High ISO Sensitivity, which should offer a better low-light photography experience.
