Google’s Pixel 4 line is getting more complicated. If the Pixel 4A was not enough, there is now a 5G version of the phone. And if that was not confusing enough, the new Pixel 4A 5G includes the same processor as the company’s newest flagship, the Pixel 5.

Google’s new Pixel 4A 5G includes a 6.2-inch display, which is actually larger than the Pixel 5’s 6-inch panel. But there are some other key differences to note here. First of all, it’s not the same 90Hz display you will get on the Pixel 5. For the cheaper price point, you are only getting a display with a refresh rate of 60Hz, though the resolution is the same as the Pixel 5’s display.

Under the hood, there are a couple of other compromises Google is making with the Pixel 4A 5G for the cheaper price point. You are only getting 6GB of RAM (versus the 8GB RAM on the Pixel 5), a 3,885mAh battery, and no IP68 water resistance. Another interesting difference? The 6.2-inch panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 instead of the Pixel 5’s Gorilla Glass 6.

The processor is the same as the Pixel 5, though, meaning you will get a Snapdragon 765G processor which enables the 5G support.

For the cameras, you are getting the same cameras as the Pixel 5. In other words, there’s a 12.2MP main camera, coupled with a 16MP ultrawide lens on the back, and an 8MP front camera for selfies.

Google’s new Pixel 4A 5G will be available for $499 and it will be available in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia.
