Looks like some retailers are testing out their price-cutting scissors in preparation for Black Friday and Cyber Monday on November 29th and December 2nd, respectively. If you need a powerful tablet with a ton of storage, Amazon has a great deal on the latest version of the Apple iPad Pro. This is the Wi-Fi-only version of the slate in Silver or Space Gray and it is equipped with a whopping 1TB of storage. It also features an 11-inch edge-to-edge LCD (Liquid Retina is the term Apple uses) display carrying a resolution of 1668 x 2388. The ProMotion technology provides a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Released about a year ago, the tablet is powered by the A12X Bionic and has 4GB of memory onboard. On the back is a 12MP camera while a 7MP FaceTime camera can be found in front.

At Amazon, this configuration of the 11-inch iPad Pro is normally priced at $1,349. But after slashing $249.03 off of the price (an 18% discount), the tablet will cost you $1.099.97. And if you purchase the device using the Amazon.com Store Card, you can pay it off interest-free over 12 months.

Because this is the latest version of the iPad Pro, it supports the second-generation Apple Pencil, which charges by sticking magnetically to the tablet’s frame. It also uses Face ID to unlock and employs the same gesture navigation system found on notched versions of the iPhone. And of course, the tablet does run on Apple’s iPadOS 13. The new mobile operating system, based on iOS 13, is made just for Apple’s tablets and adds a Dark mode; swipe-to-type on the virtual QWERTY (which can be reduced in size); new precise gestures for highlighting and cut and paste; and more.

The next iteration of the iPad Pro could be unveiled next March at the same time that Apple introduces the iPhone SE 2 and the AR-powered Apple Glasses. The big change to the 2020 iPad Pro is rumored to be a triple camera setup that would include a Wide, Ultra-wide and a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor for more accurate depth readings. This would allow the tablet to take portraits with an improved bokeh effect.
