Let’s be honest, designing an eye-catching presentation can be difficult. Especially when you are dealing with lots of boring numbers and information, it can get challenging to make things visually appealing. Microsoft partly tackled this issue with PowerPoint’s Designer feature which automatically provides users with a bunch of different designs for their slides based on the context, to make things look much better and visually appealing.

To date, PowerPoint Designer worked well with basic slides with pictures and text. It didn’t work too well with tables, though. Microsoft is changing that, soon. The company started testing an updated version of PowerPoint Designer with Office Insiders today that helps users make their tables look much better. PowerPoint Designer will suggest different looks for your tables, as well as a different layout for the entire slide, too. All of this works intelligently, so the suggested designs will be all context-based.

The feature will be rolled out to all Office users on Windows after it goes through Insider testing, so keep an eye out for it. It’s really useful if you want to turn your bland presentations into something that’s at least a bit eye-catching under a very short time.
