A new series of leaks reveal that Samsung’s next line of flagship handsets will be branded as the Galaxy S20, and not as the Galaxy S11. Apparently, the name is meant to align with the year of its release, 2020.

So that’s interesting. But now we know more about their specifications, too.

First up, the basic form factor: It appears that the S20 line will visually resemble the previous-generation Galaxy S10 line, with an “all-display” form factor and tiny bezels. But that display will offer an impressive 120 Hz refresh rate for super-fast scrolling and more realistic animations, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels.

Unfortunately, the in-display fingerprint reader is still an ultrasonic scanner, just like the terrible version in the Galaxy Note 10 lineup, but it’s not clear if it’s been improved in any way. And no, there’s no headphone jack either.

One area of obvious improvement, however, is the new camera system, which will feature at least two 108 MP (!) lenses and new camera modes. (Features will vary by model, as always.) This is a big deal because the middling quality of Samsung’s cameras today is a concern given the quality we see in flagships from Apple, Google, and others.

Additionally, Samsung is expected to launch a Galaxy Fold 2 at its February Unpacked event alongside the S20 line, and this new folding handset will apparently feature Super-Fast Charging at 25- to 45-watts.
