Microsoft To Do Now Integrates with Momentum

Posted May 4, 2020 | Cloud | Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Consumer Services | Microsoft To-Do | Momentum | Office 365 | Web browsers | Windows

Momentum announced today that it is now offering Microsoft To Do integration in the paid version of its browser-based personal dashboard. This is the new tab screen that I use, pay for, and recommend.

“We’re excited to announce that Microsoft To Do has joined Asana, Trello, Todoist, GitHub, Bitbucket, Basecamp 3, and Google Tasks in our collection of to-do integrations,” Momentum community manager Ben Wilson writes.

Microsoft To Do integration requires a Momentum Plus subscription—which costs $40 per year—and appears to replace a previous integration with Wunderlist, which is being shut down by Microsoft this week.

“Wunderlist, acquired by Microsoft, is officially being shut down on May 6, 2020 and [is] replaced with Microsoft To Do,” Wilson notes. “Wunderlist users will be able to transfer their data to Microsoft To Do until June 30.”

As for the Microsoft To Do integration, Momentum says that it’s a full-featured implementation that supports all of the basic task management actions like adding, editing, and completing To Do-based tasks. But because of some API limitations, there are a few issues related to certain list types. “We’re optimistic that Microsoft will update their API soon so we can improve our To Do integration for you,” the firm notes.

Seriously, you should check out Momentum. It’s much nicer than the default new tab experience in Microsoft Edge or other browsers.
