Microsoft To-Do Gets Support for File Attachments

Posted January 28, 2019 | Microsoft 365 | Microsoft To-Do | Windows

Microsoft is today rolling out support for file attachments for Microsoft To-Do across all platforms. File attachments have long been a much-requested feature for the app, with the first official feature request made back in April 2017.

Microsoft said the company started working on the feature back in November 2018, and it’s now rolling the feature out to everyone. The feature allows you to add files or photos of up to 25mb in size, and you can even add multiple files to a single task.

The feature is available on Microsoft To-Do apps, as well as Outlook Tasks online. The service only recently got Cortana integration in some regions, and it’d be interesting to see if Microsoft can figure out a way of adding support for file attachments (at least for viewing your file attachments) within Cortana for your lists and reminders. Probably won’t happen, though.
