Today, Microsoft released a set of cumulative updates for most supported Windows 10 versions that fix the recent printing issues.

“[This update] addresses an issue that might prevent certain printers from printing,” Microsoft’s description reads. “The print spooler might generate an error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print, and no output will come from the affected printer. You might also encounter issues with the apps you are attempting to print from, such as receiving an error, or the app might close unexpectedly. This issue might also affect software-based printers, such as when printing to PDF.”

There is a different update for different versions of Windows 10, though each does the same thing. KB4567512 fixes the issue in Windows 10 versions 1909 and 1903, KB4567513 fixes it in Windows 10 version 1809, and KB4567514 is now available for Windows 10 version 1803. Oddly, there’s no fix yet for Windows 10 version 2004.

As oddly, these updates aren’t (yet) on Windows Update, so you’ll need to use the links above to get the fixes.
