macOS Catalina update addresses Wi-Fi, iCloud problems

Posted September 11, 2020 | Mac

Apple has rolled out another Supplemental Update for macOS 10.15.6 Catalina. Back in August, Apple had to correct an error with the same version, which caused virtualisation programs to crash; this update focuses on, and hopefully fixes, an entirely separate set of problems.

According to Apple’s release notes, the September Supplemental Update fixes problems with Wi-Fi and iCloud Drive, which were failing to synchronise data correctly. However, the update is so far only available for beta testers, and it’s not known when Apple will make it more widely available to developers.

The Catalina build has the version number 19G2531; the one from August was labelled 19G2021.
