And speaking of Office 365, it’s been a rough week for users. Exchange Online issues dragged on for days for a number of European O365 users. And yesterday, there was a worldwide MS cloud services authentication outage (which didn’t last too long, but still….)

Codename pick of the week: Project Rome

The Project Rome SDK for iOS and Android has just hit version 1. What is/was Rome? Project Rome allows developers to write apps that can run on multiple devices and travel with the user as they switch between devices. Documentation link. Microsoft first talked about this concept in 2016 at Build.

Beer pick of the week: Bell’s Black Note Stout

It’s super cold in the midwest right now – perfect weather for an imperial stout. Bell’s – based in the heart of this frozen tundra in Comstock, Mich. — makes a great one: Black Note Stout. It’s a combination of Bell’s Expedition Stout and their Double Cream Stout, aged in oak bourbon barrels for months. Not overwhelmed by the bourbon, but smooth and very yummy.
