The Lenovo Flex 5G is billed as the world’s first 5G laptop, and it is shipping with Windows 10 on ARM on Verizon this week.

As 5G computing holds the power to transform user experiences, we believe it can ultimately disrupt the PC industry for the better.”

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xc chipset, the Lenovo Flex 5G is a 2-in-1 convertible PC and it should deliver well over 20 hours of battery life but will, of course, come with the same compatibility limitations and performance issues as any Windows 10 on ARM-based PC. It supports both mmWave and Sub-6 GHz 5G, a design that Lenovo says allows for 5G coverage in both laptop and tablet modes.

The Flex 5G ships Thursday, June 18 in the U.S. on Verizon and will $1,399.99, but it can be paid for in installments for $58.33 per month for 24 months. Outside of the U.S., this PC will be branded as the Lenovo Yoga 5G and will be available in various other markets later this year.
