Microsoft has a site it calls Microsoft Worklab, where it has been publishing information and research on work changes during the pandemic. This week, they published a year-long analysis of the hybrid workplace – the WorkTrend Index — based on thousands of interviews. If you are interested in lessons learned kinds of stuff, you may want to check out the report.
Codename pick of the week: Narya
Project Narya – part of the Azure infrastructure inside MSFT — is an end-to-end prediction and mitigation service—named after the “ring of fire” from Lord of the Rings, known to resist the weariness of time. Narya is for predicting and mitigating Azure host failures but also to measure the impact of its mitigation actions and to use an automatic feedback loop to intelligently adjust its mitigation strategy.
