Stardock Brings WindowBlinds to Windows 11
Stardock today announced the beta first release of its vaunted WindowBlinds UI customization app to support Windows 11. WindowBlinds 11 works on Windows 10 as well, of course.
“This app has been a cornerstone in our suite of desktop enhancements,” Stardock’s Brad Sams says. “We are thrilled to be releasing the newest version with several highly requested updates, including a new automatic dark mode and improved high DPI support for new skins.”
The WindowBlinds 11 public beta lets you customize the Windows 10/11 Start menu, Taskbar, window frames, control buttons, and more using desktop interface themes called skins, Stardock explains. It ships with several default skins, but you can download more on WinCustomize.com, and each is customizable. And with Windows 11, WindowBlinds also supports widgets and File Explorer tabs.
The WindowBlinds 11 public beta is available as part of the Stardock Object Desktop suite or individually for $14.99 during the beta period. WindowBlinds 10 users can upgrade for $9.99.
